E chegamos às três melhores canções de 1969 de acordo com o programa "Em Órbita".
No álbum "To Our Children's Children's Children" dos The Moody Blues constava aquela que o "Em Órbita" vai colocar na 3ª posição. "Watching and Waiting" é das canções mais belas que The Moody Blues compuseram, não tendo sido, no entanto, das que tiveram maior popularidade.
Num álbum, inspirado na chegada do homem à lua, com elevada produção de estúdio era um disco difícil de reproduzir ao vivo, talvez por isso não tão conhecido como as anteriores.
Vá-se lá saber porquê "Watching and Waiting" não obteve sucesso nas tabelas de venda, contrariamente ao LP que, pese a sua complexidade, foi bem recebido.
Editada em Single em Outubro de 1969, foi a tempo de "Em Órbita" colocar "Watching and Waiting" directamente no 3º lugar das melhores do ano. Altura para saborear "Watching and Waiting", uma das minhas preferidas de sempre.
